We Made It!
After a long drive down, we have arrived in New Orleans, safe and sound. We are staying in a home that is being refurbished and has plenty of bunk beds and great air conditioning! We are heading to sleep very soon to rest up after the drive so this is a short post. We will post again soon with more information. Our internet access is somewhat limited, but we will make an effort to post as often as possible. Please feel free to leave comments for us as some of you have already done. Glad you made it with no problems. Weather looks like chance of storms on and off all week so stay dry. Be kind to Jordan (little brother), Mary (Mom for the week). Notice I didn't say Pete because he can take it. Your covered by all our prayers up here. Work hard but have fun. May you light shine brightly as you work in God's name. Remember you are His hands and feet!

We're giving thanks for safe travels and are praying the weather cooperates and doesn't interfere with the work planned for the week.
While we know you'll be working hard, we also trust there will be some fun times and lots of laughter too.

P.S. The VanderLaan children might be interested to know that the Cutlass is a "perfect fit" in the garage and their cars have now found permanent residence on the driveway. ;)
